A lien was placed on unpaid 2004 City and County taxes and unpaid 2003-2004 Saratoga Springs School taxes by the Commissioner of Finance on October 1, 2004. If unpaid, these taxes will be foreclosed upon beginning on October 1, 2007. The Commissioner of Finance conducted a tax lien foreclosure process on 1998 and 1999 tax liens. The Commissioner of Finance held a property auction of the foreclosed parcels on September 13, 2003. The Commissioner of Finance will begin a tax lien foreclosure on 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, and 2003 tax liens in 2006.
