Recreation Department

Recreation Department Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

The emphasis of our programs is on learning. All participants have an equal opportunity to grow in knowledge and skills. We practice together to develop a sense of community. We play games to help players understand their strengths and weaknesses and identify areas for improvement. We have teams to develop identity and the spirit of cooperation.

The Department of Recreation provides recreation services to the members of the Saratoga Springs & surrounding communities governed by the Saratoga Springs Recreation Commission. Members are appointed by the Mayor.

Recreation fields and indoor ice rinks are scheduled by the Recreation Department and maintained by the Department of Public Works. General hours of operation for outdoor recreation complexes are Dawn to Dusk.
