Today, 72 sworn police officers make up the ranks of the Police Department. In support of the police officers are 11 dispatchers, 3 Parking Enforcement Officers, 1 Identification Clerk, and 1 Sr. Clerk. The Police Department is divided into 3 main components:
Administrative Services Division
The Patrol Division consists of uniformed police officers and supervisors who patrol city streets to prevent and detect crime, answer calls, and respond to situations. Patrol Division is divided into 4 Shifts offering round-the-clock protection to the public.
The Investigations Division consists of plain clothes Investigators and supervisors who investigate major crimes occurring in the city. The division is divided into 2 units:

Special Investigations Unit
The Administrative Services Division consists of Emergency Management, Planning, Intelligence Traffic Safety Unit, Dispatch, Training and civilian employees
