Ice Rink Public Skating Sessions

We are happy to announce the return of our public skating and stick sessions!

In order to maintain the health and safety of our recreation community, we are limiting the number of participants at these sessions. All skaters must pre-register and pay for each session ahead of time through Community Pass. Click the "Online Registration" button below 
to create an account or log in to register. No refunds will be provided.

No walk-ins will be allowed.

City residents can begin to register Monday of each week for that weekend's sessions. Non-City residents can begin to register Wednesday of each week for that week's sessions.

Our Open Figure sessions will remain a drop in session. Participants need to create an account and register for a City or Non-City Rec card beforehand. Click the "Online Registration" button above to create an account or log in and register for a City or Non-City Rec card.

 Masks are to be worn at all times while in our facilities, including while participating in an activity or program.

We are pleased to welcome you back to our facilities and programs! We have studied the New York State Sports and Recreation Guidelines in order to develop new protocols for our activities. We encourage you to view our Return to Rec Operational Plan for complete details and understanding of our procedures.

Family Skate and Open Public Information:

Family Skate sessions are for parents and children 13 and under. Open Public sessions are for participants of all ages.

No figure skating or hockey allowed on Family Skate or Open Public sessions.

Fees:
City residents: $4
Non-City residents: $5
No refunds
Skate rentals are available for an additional $5. Cash or check (made out to Commissioner of Finance) only. Pre paying for rentals is not available. 

Participation is limited to 35 skaters per session.

Family Stick and Open Stick Information:

Family Stick sessions are designed to work on hockey drills for parents and children 13 and under.
Open Stick sessions are designed to work on hockey drills for participants of all ages.

NO GAMES are allowed on either Family Stick or Open Stick sessions!

Helmet with cage or face shield and gloves required. Helmet with cage or face shield and gloves required. Mask/face coverings must be worn as well.

Non-City residents: $11

Participation is limited to 20 skaters per session.
