The NYS Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services has approved the Saratoga County Multi-jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan pending approval by the participating municipalities. The Saratoga County Board of Supervisors has approved the Plan per Resolution 213-2019. There is no budget impact to the City's adoption of this plan via this resolution. The City will be eligible for FEMA Hazard Mitigation Assistance per the City Council's adoption of the plan as it is recorded by the NYS Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services Region II Office.

The City has actively provided documentation to this plan and is working on implementing it in partnership with the Saratoga County Office of Emergency Services.
