***The Assessment Office will be holding a "How to Grieve your Assessment" class for 2023: When: Tuesday May 9, 2023
Where: 474 Broadway, City Council Room
Time: 5:00pm
** You MUST sign up by Friday May 5th. If we get no sign ups the class will be cancelled.
If you are unable to attend the Grievance Class the Powerpoint used is attached here:Grievance Class Powerpoint Will be updated for 2023 on May 1, 2023 This attachment should answer most if not all your questions on how to complete the forms. Please Read the Following instructions carefully:
To grieve your assessment, fill out the application and submit along with all supporting documentation. We begin accepting applications in the office on Monday May 1, 2023. We also accept by mail but be advised Post marked will NOT be accepted. Grievance packets can also be mailed out by request

Grievance Day
Grievance Day is Tuesday May 23, 2023. Board of Assessment Review (BAR) will meet at 474 Broadway, City Council Room.
Grievance board members will be hearing grievances at the times below. You do not need to be present to Grieve your Assessment, however we do need to know if you would like to be. You must submit your completed application and documentation to the Assessment Office in order to be scheduled for a time PRIOR to the start of each BAR hearing session.
- Morning Session:9 a.m. - Noon
- Afternoon Session:1 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
- Evening Session:7 p.m. - 9 p.m.
