History Museum

The Historic Canfield Casino is located in Congress Park, off Broadway in Saratoga Springs. Home to the Saratoga Springs History Museum which presents changing exhibitions, public programs, and serves hundreds of researchers annually. The museum's 6 exhibits of Saratoga History are located on 3 floors of a historic 1870s gambling casino, designated a National Historic Landmark.

Visitors can learn more about the prolific history of Saratoga, by exploring the Exhibition room, the High Stakes Gambling room, Belter room, Walworth Museum, and the Saratoga Springs History Hall of Fame.

  • Children under 12 are free
Between Memorial Day and Labor Day, the museum is open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The remainder of the year, the Saratoga Springs History Museum is closed Monday and Tuesday.
