Administrative Services Division

Administrative Services Division is commanded by a Lieutenant and is comprised of 2 Sergeants (Traffic Safety and Dispatch/Training Supervisor), a Police Officer (Planning & Intelligence), and a civilian Identification Officer.

Personnel responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Overall command of civilian Public Safety Dispatchers and Police/Fire Dispatch Center
  • Administering the City's comprehensive Emergency Management Plan and SSPD Accreditation Program 
  • Special event planning and coordination
  • Liaison with State and Local law enforcement and inter-agency coordination
  • Coordination of Department training
  • Coordination of community programs
  • Planning and execution of SSPD Traffic Safety plan
  • Supervision of Parking Enforcement, Animal Control and Crossing Guards
  • Identification and records maintenance including:
    • Fingerprinting and photographing of arrest's
    • Maintaining related files
    • Dissemination of department records
    • Organization and filing of all case reports
    • Arrest reports and related paper records of the department
