Administrative Services Division is commanded by a Lieutenant and is comprised of 2 Sergeants (Traffic Safety and Dispatch/Training Supervisor), a Police Officer (Planning & Intelligence), and a civilian Identification Officer.
Responsibilities
Personnel responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Overall command of civilian Public Safety Dispatchers and Police/Fire Dispatch Center
- Administering the City's comprehensive Emergency Management Plan and SSPD Accreditation Program
- Special event planning and coordination
- Liaison with State and Local law enforcement and inter-agency coordination
- Coordination of Department training
- Coordination of community programs
- Planning and execution of SSPD Traffic Safety plan
- Supervision of Parking Enforcement, Animal Control and Crossing Guards
- Identification and records maintenance including:
- Fingerprinting and photographing of arrest's
- Maintaining related files
- Dissemination of department records
- Organization and filing of all case reports
- Arrest reports and related paper records of the department
