[ARCHIVED] Regent Street Situation Resolved

Just after 2 pm today, the Saratoga Springs Police Department responded to
an assault call on Regent Street by Caroline Street. During our response a
male party who was involved in the incident locked himself in a room of the
home on Regent Street with unknown intentions and he refused to come out.

As a precaution both private and public school in the area were notified
and advised to implement safety precautions. The Saratoga Springs City
School bus garage was also notified and asked to reroute buses away from
the area as well due to the police activity in the area.

The situation was resolved. At no time were any students in endangered by this siutation.
