 City Services Temporarily Limited Due to Electrical Service Upgrade

Saratoga Springs, NY – On Tuesday, November 26, 2019 beginning at 7:00am a scheduled electrical service upgrade will take place as part of the City Hall renovation project. As a result, there will be no power through approximately 12:00am on November 27.

Police & Fire Department services, as well as EMS protection, will still be available at all times.  More details on how to access these services will be available by the end of this week. Please continue to call 911 for emergencies and 518-584-1800 for public safety non-emergencies.

City Hall Offices at the Recreation Center will remain open. However, there will be no telephone, email or access to other city systems.

Residents looking to conduct City business on this day are encouraged to plan accordingly as many public services will not be available. Normal services will resume on November 27th.

The Finance Department will not be receiving tax collections, late payments, or any receivables during this time. The Public Safety Department will not be able to accept Parking ticket payments on November 26th.  Late fees will not be assessed for this day. These services will resume on Wednesday, November 27th.

The Building Department will be performing inspections as usual, however no permits or CO’s can be issued.

Calls to the main number for City Hall 518-587-3550 will roll over to one line and be directed by an operator as best as possible.  Please note there will be no ability for call transfers, voicemail, or messages.
