From the State & Governor Cuomo:

1. New York established the Hospital Network Central Coordinating Team to help facilitate a coordinated approach among the state’s hospitals in combating Coronavirus. A chain is only as strong as its weakest link — which is why we need all our hospitals working together to fight this virus. New York’s new Central Coordinating Team, led by the State Department of Health, will help implement a statewide plan so that hospitals across the state can efficiently share information, supplies and staff, as well as transfer patients between hospitals as needed.

 2. The State is launching an online portal that will help connect our hospitals and healthcare facilities with the nearly 80,000 healthcare workers who have volunteered to help. The portal will prioritize the deployment of NY-based workers to hospitals with the greatest need. Volunteers are expected to be deployed as early as this Thursday.

3. Due to circumstances from the COVID-19 pandemic, the deadline to get a "Real ID" has been extended to October 1, 2021. For more information on whether the Real ID is right for you, visit the NY DMV webpage.

4. Tomorrow is Census Day. By April 1st, every home will have received their invitation to complete the Census and this year, you can respond online. Your response to the Census is crucial in determining everything from congressional representation to funding for infrastructure, education, public health and more. You can fill it out without having to leave your house. For more information on the Census, click here.
