[ARCHIVED] City Council Meeting - Open to the Public on October 20

cityseal

The upcoming City Council meeting on Tuesday, October 20 will be held in the Music Hall at City Hall, and the meeting will be open to the public.

Mayor Kelly previously announced that Council meetings would be closed to the public due to Council concerns about COVID and the number of people in the smaller Council Room, especially as we head towards the colder months.  She is pleased to announce that the Music Hall will be ready to host larger in-person City meetings as of Tuesday and would like to thank DPW and the IT department for working quickly to make that happen.

  • The meeting will also be livestreamed and recorded to the website.
  • Room occupancy is still limited to 50 per NYS COVID guidelines:  seating for the public is available for about 30-34 people.
  • Members of the public may attend for Public Hearing/Comment, but will be asked to leave after commenting if room capacity is reached.
  • As always, the public can also submit their comments in writing by mail to the city clerk or by email to public.comment@saratoga-springs.org.

Tuesday's meeting begins at 6:45 p.m. with a Public Hearing for the 2021 Comprehensive Budget.  The public entrance to City Hall is via the Broadway ramp on the north side of the building.  Follow signs for elevator access to the 3rd floor Music Hall..

The City Council continues to monitor the guidance provided by New York State, as well as the local conditions as reported by Saratoga County and the Department of Health.
