Please take notice that the City Council of the City of Saratoga Springs, New York, will conduct a public hearing at the regular City Council meeting on Tuesday, June 1st at 6:55 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the below matter can be reached, in the City of Saratoga Springs, New York, by videoconference, to hear all persons who wish to speak regarding the proposed submission of a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) application to support the City’s COVID-19 Small Business Grant Program (SBG). The CDBG-CV program is administered by the New York State Office of Homes & Community Renewal (HCR), who proposes to utilize up to $60 Million in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act to help communities throughout the state to safely reopen and restart their local economies in the wake of COVID-19.
Comments on the proposed application will be received at this time. The hearing is being conducted pursuant to Section 570.486, Subpart I of the CFR and in compliance with the requirements of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended.
